OUR JOURNEY TO LIFE IN HAWAII, INSPIRING OTHERS ALONG THE WAY
Arts & Crafts - Painting
Popeye
We found this painting in a box of artwork from my (Laura's) childhood. This was done freehand from a tiny comic strip during my 10th grade art class. This was about the time I discovered my love for the ocean after my first family trip to California. Perhaps it depicts my dreams of being with my soul mate near the ocean. Now my fantasy has become a reality. Ken had this picture framed and it hung in our office in Arizona. It travelled to Hawaii with us and is now hanging in our bedroom.

Plaster Paint
We bought this floral plaster art, which was all solid (with grey primer) at Hobby Lobby in AZ. After being settled in the house for few years, I finally got around to completing it with acryllic paints.

The volcano art was created at a friend and close neighbor's Paint-N-Sip event with several ladies. It hangs in the spare bathroom of our house, or as I call it the "Lava-tory" and it is accompanied by a red lava lamp.

Canvas Paint
These paintings were both done at paint-n-sip events and they hang in our house and the guest suite.

Outdoor Decor Painting Renovations
All of these items were from Arizona and were terribly faded by the desert sun. They got new life, along with their new home.
